Celebrate with Pimento Cheese Burgers

The perfect addition to any BBQ

Barbeque season has officially arrived and we’re celebrating the heat and the start of summer with a Southern BBQ classic - pimento cheese burgers! Each burger is topped with a delicious spread of pimento cheese, adding the perfect amount of heat and twang to each bite. Add on your favorite toppings and you have yourself the perfect summer meal. 

Ingredients:

 

Optional Toppings:

  • Sliced tomato

  • Leaf lettuce

  • Sliced red onion

  • Ketchup

  • Mustard

  • Cooked bacon 

 

Directions: 

  1. Combine the ground beef, salt, and pepper and divide the burger meat into four equal sized patties, with the sides being about 1 inch thick.

  2. Place your patties onto a hot grill, cooking until the internal temperature reaches 160 F, occasionally flip your burgers to ensure both sides are cooked evenly.

  3. About one minute before the burgers are done, add a spoonful of pimento cheese to each one - this will help the cheese to melt a bit.

  4. Once cooked through, add your patties to the buns and add your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
