Celebrate with Pimento Cheese Burgers
The perfect addition to any BBQ
Barbeque season has officially arrived and we’re celebrating the heat and the start of summer with a Southern BBQ classic - pimento cheese burgers! Each burger is topped with a delicious spread of pimento cheese, adding the perfect amount of heat and twang to each bite. Add on your favorite toppings and you have yourself the perfect summer meal.
Ingredients:
1 1/2 lbs ground beef
Fresh black pepper
1 teaspoon salt
Your favorite hamburger buns - we like to use brioche!
1 8 ounce container of Pimento Chz Club’s Original Pimento Cheese
Optional Toppings:
Sliced tomato
Leaf lettuce
Sliced red onion
Ketchup
Mustard
Cooked bacon
Directions:
Combine the ground beef, salt, and pepper and divide the burger meat into four equal sized patties, with the sides being about 1 inch thick.
Place your patties onto a hot grill, cooking until the internal temperature reaches 160 F, occasionally flip your burgers to ensure both sides are cooked evenly.
About one minute before the burgers are done, add a spoonful of pimento cheese to each one - this will help the cheese to melt a bit.
Once cooked through, add your patties to the buns and add your favorite toppings. Enjoy!
