DIY Pizza Bar
We’re past the point of ordering expensive delivery
While we all can use a good pizza delivery here or there, the best type of pizza is always homemade! What’s great about pizza is that it is truly customizable for everyone - especially if you make it from home. Not only does it save money on the expensive delivery, but everyone gets their own to put their own spin on.
My husband and I love setting up a DIY pizza bar when we have guests over - or even as a stay-at-home date night. Who doesn’t love bonding over pizza? Using premade flatbreads keeps it stress free and super easy for last minute entertaining. To create the perfect pizza bar, have all of your ingredients prepped and ready to go. Just top with your favorite Pimento Chz Club flavor and get to topping!
Ingredients:
Dough:
We love using greek flatbreads, Naan, pita bread, or tortillas
Cheese:
8 ounces of Pimento Chz Club’s Original Pimento Cheese or 8 ounces of Pimento Chz Club’s Green Chile Cilantro
Topping Bar:
Sliced Red Onions
Fresh Tomatoes
Green Peppers
Olives
Mushrooms
Sliced Zucchini
Baby Spinach
Fresh herbs like basil, parsley, or cilantro
Pepperoni
Cooked Sausage
Cooked Chicken
Bacon Bits
Instructions:
Preheat the oven to 425F.
Spread 1/3 cup of Pimento Chz Club on your bread leaving a 1/2-inch border around the edges.
Top with your favorite toppings, We love a handful of quartered cherry tomatoes, sliced red onions, and torn kalamata olives.
Bake at 425F directly on the oven rack or pizza stone until the cheese is melted and the bread is toasted, about 8-12 minutes.
Sprinkle with herbs and cut into wedges.
